Job summary

Coins.ph is hiring a Backend Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level) to design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based microservices for our payment platform in Taguig City, Metro Manila.

You will work across the payment lifecycle, including acquiring, clearing, settlement, and ledger accounting, ensuring reliability and security. Collaboration with Mandarin-speaking teams and a strong foundation in CS concepts are valued for this role.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of professional backend development experience.
• Strong fresh graduates with internship or project experience are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship backend services: design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based microservices that run our payment platform.
• Contribute to features across the payment lifecycle, including acquiring, clearing, settlement, and ledger accounting.
• Protect user funds: build reconciliation jobs, exception handling flows, and monitoring to ensure accuracy.
