Job summary

The Asian Institute of Management (AIM) is seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to drive corporate growth for the School of Executive Education and Lifelong Learning (SEELL). This B2B role focuses on acquiring and growing corporate clients through consultative selling of executive education, leadership development, customized training, and postgraduate diploma programs.

You will align plans with Program Managers and promote SEELL and AIM to senior leaders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.
6+ years in marketing/sales or project management with strong marketing/sales focus.
Experience directly managing a team and working with cross-functional teams and senior managers/business leaders.

Responsibilities

Drives business development initiatives and strategies for SEELL to ensure client acquisition, business growth, and achievement of revenue targets.
Develops a growth strategy focused on financial gain and customer satisfaction and discusses promotional strategies with the Marketing Department.
Builds and fosters good working relationships with new and current clients to ensure repeat engagements and sales
Draws up business plans in respond to client needs. Understands business pains and market opportunities.
Sets growth goals, and training and development plans for the entire Business Development Team.
Works closely with Program Managers and other departments. Promotes the SEELL and AIM brand and raises professional behavior in all aspects of work.
