Hillcrest, Davidson & Associates is seeking an on-site debt collections specialist in IT Park, Cebu City, to manage US commercial accounts and drive recoveries. You will contact business owners by phone and email, review disputes, and negotiate settlements, with strict adherence to deadlines and procedures.

The role requires 1+ year of B2B debt collection experience, strong English communication, and the ability to work nights aligned to US hours, within a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on B2B debt collection experience, preferably with US commercial accounts.
• Working knowledge of US commercial collection processes and mechanic's liens.
• Strong negotiation, dispute-resolution, and objection-handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of US commercial collection accounts and maintain consistent follow-up.
• Contact businesses by phone and email to pursue outstanding balances and secure payment commitments.
• Review contracts, invoices, and supporting docs to substantiate claims and advance recovery.
• Investigate disputes, identify missing information, and obtain needed documentation.
• Negotiate settlements and payment arrangements within approved authority and monitor compliance.
• Understand mechanic's lien processes and coordinate with management and counsel as needed.
• Identify accounts requiring lien review or legal escalation; coordinate with team.
• Maintain accurate account notes and provide clear status updates.
• Meet recovery targets and adhere to laws and company procedures.
