Job summary

SoftwareOne and Crayon are seeking an AWS Solutions Architect in the Philippines to design secure, scalable AWS solutions and guide customers through cloud transformations. You will engage with customers, sales teams, and delivery specialists to ensure architectures meet business goals and align with AWS best practices.

This role blends presales and delivery responsibilities, requiring hands-on IaC (Terraform or CloudFormation), containerization, Kubernetes, and DevOps workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization initiatives.
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security, networking, and governance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation practices.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and design tailored AWS solutions.
• Guide organizations through cloud transformation initiatives, including data center modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, workshops, and responses to customer proposals and RFPs.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Stay at the forefront of AWS innovation and share technical expertise with customers and internal teams.
