Job summary

SoftwareONE is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect to design and deliver secure, scalable cloud solutions for customers, blending presales and delivery responsibilities with sales teams and delivery specialists.

You will guide migrations, modernization, and cloud transformations, leveraging IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and design tailored AWS solutions.
• Guide cloud transformation initiatives, including data center modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, workshops, and responses to customer proposals and RFPs.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Join our Cloud Services team as an AWS Solutions Architect, where you'll work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery specialists to design and implement secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions. This role combines both presales and delivery responsibilities, allowing you to influence customer strategy while ensuring successful solution implementation.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative cloud practice focused on helping organizations modernize their infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and maximize the value of their AWS investments. Working alongside sales, engineering, and consulting teams, you’ll support customers throughout their cloud transformation journey.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and design tailored AWS solutions.
• Guide organizations through cloud transformation initiatives, including data center modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, workshops, and responses to customer proposals and RFPs.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Stay at the forefront of AWS innovation and share technical expertise with customers and internal teams.
• Strong experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization initiatives.
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security, networking, and governance best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation practices.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and DevOps methodologies.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect and/or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly valued.
