Job summary

SoftwareOne Deutschland GmbH is seeking an AWS Solutions Architect in Manila to design and implement scalable cloud solutions for customers. You will work with sales and delivery teams to translate business goals into secure, modern AWS architectures and guide migrations and modernization initiatives.

You’ll lead technical discussions, craft presales and delivery strategies, and ensure successful implementations while staying updated on AWS innovations and best practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and delivering AWS cloud solutions, including migration and modernization.
• Deep understanding of AWS architecture, cloud security, networking and governance best practices.
• Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation) and automation.
• Knowledge of modern cloud-native technologies including containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD and DevOps.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and business stakeholders.
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are valued.

Join our Cloud Services team as an AWS Solutions Architect, where you'll work closely with customers, sales teams, and delivery specialists to design and implement secure, scalable, and modern cloud solutions. This role combines both presales and delivery responsibilities, allowing you to influence customer strategy while ensuring successful solution implementation.

You’ll be part of a highly collaborative cloud practice focused on helping organizations modernize their infrastructure, accelerate cloud adoption, and maximize the value of their AWS investments. Working alongside sales, engineering, and consulting teams, you’ll support customers throughout their cloud transformation journey.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with customers and sales teams to understand business objectives and design tailored AWS solutions.
• Guide organizations through cloud transformation initiatives, including data center modernization, cloud migrations, and hybrid cloud adoption.
• Design secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-effective cloud architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Lead technical discussions, presentations, workshops, and responses to customer proposals and RFPs.
• Provide architectural oversight during project delivery, ensuring successful implementation and customer satisfaction.
• Stay at the forefront of AWS innovation and share technical expertise with customers and internal teams.

What we need to see from you
