Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a procurement professional to secure automation, electrical, and instrumentation components for project needs. You will evaluate quotations, verify part numbers, and coordinate with engineering, sales, and logistics to meet schedules.

The role requires BOM literacy, familiarity with PLC/HMI/industrial automation parts, and strong supplier management. Office-based in Cavite, Philippines.

Qualifications

• Graduate in electrical/electronics/industrial automation or related field.
• Experience in technical purchasing is a plus.
• Familiar with BOMs, datasheets, and part numbers.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure automation, electrical, instrumentation, control, networking, and panel components.
• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations based on technical compliance, price, availability, warranty, lead time, and terms.
• Verify manufacturer, model, part number, specifications, compatibility, and approved alternatives before placing POs.
• Coordinate with engineering, project, sales, suppliers, and logistics to align with project schedules.
• Maintain records of RFQs, quotations, POs, supplier information, delivery status, pricing history, and procurement docs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising requirements.

Job Description

• Source and procure automation, electrical, instrumentation, control, networking, and panel components based on project BOMs and technical requirements.

• Request, evaluate, and compare supplier quotations based on technical compliance, price, availability, warranty, lead time, and commercial terms.

• Verify manufacturer, model, part number, specifications, compatibility, and approved alternatives before placing purchase orders.

• Coordinate with engineering, project, sales, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure materials are available according to project schedules.

• Maintain accurate records of RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, supplier information, delivery status, pricing history, and procurement documentation.

• Develop and maintain relationships with local and international manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers, while identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising technical requirements.

Job Specification

• Graduate of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field; relevant technical purchasing experience is an advantage.

• Familiar with PLC, HMI, VFD, servo systems, instrumentation, control panels, electrical components, networking, and industrial automation accessories.

• Able to interpret BOMs, datasheets, technical specifications, drawings, and manufacturer part numbers to ensure correct item selection.

• Knowledgeable in sourcing automation brands such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Omron, Beckhoff, Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, and similar industrial products.

• Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and supplier-management skills, with good attention to technical accuracy, pricing, lead time, and delivery requirements.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, email correspondence, quotation comparison, and procurement documentation.
