Job summary

Radii Global seeks an experienced automation engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of automated manufacturing systems. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in automation, hands-on equipment development, and a track record delivering full FAT/SAT, installation and commissioning across global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent field.
• 8+ years of automation engineering experience.
• Experience leading specification, development, FAT/SAT, installation and commissioning of automated equipment.
• Strong expertise in robotics, motion control, vision-guided systems and AOI.
• Experience applying DFA principles and influencing product architecture early stages.
• Ability to develop Functional Requirement Specifications for automation systems.
• Experience managing automation vendors from RFP to acceptance testing.
• Experience leading cross-functional and global teams with CM partners.

Job description

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automation, Controls Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related/equivalent field.

8+ years of experience in automation engineering, with strong hands-on expertise in equipment development and factory implementation.

Proven experience leading the specification, development, FAT/SAT, installation, and commissioning of automated manufacturing equipment.

Strong technical expertise in robotics, precision motion/motor control, adhesive dispensing, vision-guided pick-and-place, automated screw driving, and AOI systems.

Experience applying Design for Automation (DFA) principles and influencing product architecture during early development stages, including pre-EVT, to ensure automation feasibility.

Ability to develop comprehensive Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) for automated manufacturing systems.

Proven experience managing automation vendors, from RFP preparation and evaluation through acceptance testing.

Experience leading cross-functional and global teams and managing automation programs with CM (Contract Manufacturing) partners.
