Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineer II, Automation Operations to support automation-enabled operations by executing human-in-the-loop activities, resolving process exceptions, monitoring automation health, and helping ensure reliable, compliant, and efficient business processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support stabilization and continuous improvement.

Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experience supporting automation-enabled processes or related functions.
Ability to analyze information and follow established procedures to achieve accurate outcomes.
Strong written and verbal communication across teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Execute human-in-the-loop activities that support Level 1 automation processes with accuracy and governance.
Investigate and resolve routine to moderately complex process exceptions in automated workflows.
Apply judgment to elevate complex or ambiguous situations to stakeholders.
Monitor exception trends and performance indicators to identify improvements.
Document findings and analysis to support governance and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders on actions and stability initiatives.
Prepare operational updates, reports, and insights using established processes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent execution of processes.
Support stabilization of new automations through validation and monitoring.
