Job summary

Global Medical Virtual Assistants (GMVA) is seeking an IT Specialist (System and Automation) to turn messy workflows into reliable automated solutions for the entire organization. You’ll be embedded in a sprint-based team delivering dashboards, pipelines, and AI-powered agents every two weeks.

You’ll build automation with Google Apps Script, integrate APIs, design internal UI, and document processes. The role emphasizes self-direction, fast learning, and collaboration with Operations, HR,

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Apps Script / JavaScript and building modular scripts.
• REST API integration, docs reading, authentication, JSON parsing, error handling.
• No-code/low-code tools such as Zapier or Make and native automations.
• Familiarity with AI tools, prompting, and AI agents.
• CRM systems and data flow understanding.
• Ability to translate manual workflows into automation opportunities.
• Self-directed, async communication and independent ticket ownership.
• Fast learner who can pick up new domains quickly.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automation systems using Google Apps Script as the primary platform.
• Integrate with APIs (ClickUp, Google Workspace, third-party services) to move data between systems.
• Design and build lightweight web app interfaces (HTML/CSS/JS) for internal tools and dashboards.
• Use Google Sheets as a data layer with structured tabs, formulas, and scripts.
• Translate non-technical requests into working automated solutions for Operations, HR, Finance, and Leadership.
• Write clear documentation (SOPs, specs, system registries).
• Participate in 2-week sprint cycles: grooming, building, testing, shipping, retro.
• Maintain and improve existing systems (~20% maintenance).
• Collaborate on AI agent development (ClickUp Super Agents, prompts, automation logic).
• Work with no-code/low-code tools to ship fast when full custom builds aren’t warranted.
