Job summary

TGT Global, based in the Philippines with a hybrid setup (onsite twice a month at Alabang), seeks an Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline IT operations for MSP partners and their clients.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in automation, DevOps, or related fields, with strong scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), knowledge of CI/CD, and experience across AWS/Azure/Google Cloud. Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of automation engineering, DevOps, or related field.
• Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Familiarity with automation platforms (Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Terraform) and integrations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and automation tools.
• Knowledge of database management and automation of tasks.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.

As an Automation Engineer...

Youll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation solutions that streamline IT operations, improve efficiency, and support our MSP partners and their clients.

Ideal Technical Profile

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in automation engineering, DevOps, or a related field.

• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef is a plus.

• Automation Tools: Familiarity with various automation platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc.) and their integration into existing systems.

• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.

• Knowledge of CI/CD: Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines and their automation.

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their automation tools.

• Knowledge of database management and automation of database tasks.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.

• Experience in IT infrastructure and system administration.

Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts and workflows to optimize business processes and operations using tools such as PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or other automation platforms.

System Integration: Integrate automation solutions with existing systems, tools, and software platforms to create seamless workflows and improve system performance.

Process Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process automation and recommend and implement automation strategies to reduce manual efforts, increase efficiency, and minimize errors.

Automation Testing & Deployment: Test and validate automated solutions to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements, then deploy them to production environments with minimal disruption.

Troubleshooting and Optimization: Monitor automated systems and workflows for performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide ongoing support. Continuously assess and optimize automation processes for scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of automation processes, scripts, and workflows. Prepare and deliver reports on automation performance and results to stakeholders.

Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and IT teams to ensure that automation solutions are aligned with business goals.
