Job summary

Directio in Manila (Alabang, Muntinlupa) is seeking an Automation Developer for a hybrid role. You will design and develop automation scripts and frameworks to streamline operations for a French client in the glasses sector.

The role requires 5+ years in automation or related tech delivery, expertise with Power Automate/UiPath, scripting languages, API integrations, and strong testing and documentation skills. Hybrid schedule; on-site 3 days in Alabang.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of automation development, IT operations, or related technical delivery roles.
• Hybrid work: 3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH.
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks.
• Experience with automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, AI Builder, UiPath or similar tools.
• Familiarity with API integration, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint/List/Dataverse, or other enterprise systems used for automation and reporting.
• Strong testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of automation solutions.
• Ability to document workflows, diagrams, and user guides for developed automation solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across IT & business teams.
• Willingness to work shift schedule as required.

About the Project

We are looking for an Automation Developer for our French client, who specializes in producing various types of glasses and collaborating with opticians. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life by improving the quality of vision.

• Design and develop automation scripts and frameworks, streamlining tasks, workflows, and system processes to enhance operational efficiency
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to identify automation opportunities within workflows, applications, and systems, ensuring alignment with business needs

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in automation development, application support, IT operations, process improvement, or related technical delivery roles
• Work in a hybrid setup (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) – Necessary condition
• Hands-on experience in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining automation scripts, workflows, or frameworks that streamline operational processes
• Experience with automation and low-code/no-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, AI Builder, UiPath, or similar tools is preferred
• Working knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, VBA, C#, or similar technologies
• Familiarity with API integration, data extraction, data transformation, databases, SharePoint Lists, Dataverse, or other enterprise systems used for automation and reporting
• Ability to analyze business processes, identify automation opportunities, document requirements, and translate them into scalable technical solutions
• Strong understanding of testing, validation, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of automation solutions
• Experience in creating technical documentation, workflow diagrams, user guides, and support materials for developed automation solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple automation initiatives in a fast-paced technical environment
• Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with business users, stakeholders, developers, DevOps, QA, and IT support teams
• Solid understanding of IT operations, service management, incident/change processes, and ticketing systems; experience with HDA or similar ITSM tools is an advantage
• Knowledge or exposure to AI-assisted development, prompt engineering, machine learning concepts, or AI-enabled workflow automation is a plus
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, project delivery, or continuous improvement initiatives is an advantage
• Willingness to work on the assigned shift schedule and provide support during critical business or operational needs when required
