Job summary

East West Banking Corporation is seeking an Auto Loan Pre-booking Associate in Taguig for our on-site Operations team. You will review and validate loan documentary requirements, ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with bank policies while providing timely feedback to Auto Sales and Stores.

You will help mitigate risks by verifying credit, borrower, loan, and collateral documents, and coordinating corrections with sales support to keep processing on track.

Our Operations team is looking for experienced professionals to join us in Taguig with the role of Auto Loan Pre-booking Associate.

In this role, you will safeguard the bank's interests by reviewing and validating all loan documentary requirements, including credit, borrower, loan, and collateral documents, while providing timely feedback to business partners such as Auto Sales and Stores. You will help mitigate financial, operational, legal, and reputational risks associated with the auto loan business by ensuring documentation complies with established policies and requirements.

What the role will entail

• Review and assess all endorsed loan documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with bank requirements.
• Evaluate submitted documentation and exercise delegated authority to determine whether an account is eligible for booking or requires further review and approval.
• Verify that credit, borrower, loan, and supporting documents meet established standards before booking initiation.
• Identify incomplete or deficient documentation and coordinate with Auto Loans Sales Support to obtain required corrections or additional documents.
• Make informed judgments on document sufficiency and recommend appropriate actions to facilitate timely processing.
• Validate that loan details encoded in the Loan Origination System (LOS) are accurate and consistent with approved supporting documents.
• Support efficient loan processing while minimizing documentation-related risks and ensuring adherence to internal policies and controls.

• Holder of a Bachelor's degree
• Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
• Demonstrates high integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
