Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a payroll professional to manage end-to-end payroll operations in the Philippines. The role requires handling payroll from onboarding to terminations, ensuring accuracy, compliance with local and applicable Australian payroll standards, and timely reporting.

Responsibilities include maintaining payroll records, reconciling data, and supporting audits, with collaboration across HR and Finance to ensure data integrity and process improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business Administration or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of end-to-end payroll experience in high-volume or complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, compensation and benefits administration, and compliance requirements.
  • Hands-on experience processing Australian payroll, including PAYG, Superannuation, STP, GST, and BAS.

Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end payroll accurately and within established timelines.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, deductions, and leave balances.
  • Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
  • Calculate and process payroll-related taxes, government contributions, and other mandatory deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll data and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare payroll reports and supporting documentation for management, Finance, and audit requirements.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Coordinate with HR, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and completeness of employee and payroll data.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing accurate payroll records and required documentation.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve payroll processes, controls, and data integrity.

  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work regulations, Enterprise Agreements, Australian taxation, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in payroll and HRIS platforms, with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong payroll reconciliation, reporting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
