Job summary

Handled Manila-based payroll team is seeking a skilled payroll professional with AU experience to manage Australian client payroll operations from Mega Manila. The role includes timesheet processing, setup of new employee records, STP reporting, invoicing, and reconciliation tasks.

Candidate should have at least 3 years of bookkeeping experience with AU exposure, proficiency in Xero and related software, and be comfortable with BAS/IAS and payroll tax calculations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience in bookkeeping.
• AU experience is mandatory and strictly required.

Responsibilities

• Process timesheets accurately and enter data.
• Set up new employee records in payroll system and verify files.
• Review payroll reports for accuracy and discrepancy resolution.
• Distribute payslips to employees.
• Handle STP reporting and payroll tax calculations.
• Manage invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations and BAS/IAS preparation.
• Set up new entities in Xero and other systems, including year-end activities.

• Payroll Experience - Australian Clients, ideally handling multiple at one time
• Preferably with SMSF background
• Accurately process timesheets in data entry
• Handle calculations for higher pay, back pay, termination pay (redundancy, settlement agreement etc.) and tax adjustments.
• Set up new employee records in payroll system and verify personnel file details.
• Review payroll exception reports for accuracy.
• Distribute payslips
• STP reporting
• Invoicing, AP, AR
• Bank Reconciliation
• Preparation of BAS & IAS
• Xero Set up (For New Entities)
• Preparation of Annual Accounts
• Reconciliation of BAS
• Preparation & Reconciliation of Payroll & Payroll Tax
