Job summary

GoTeam is hiring an AU Bookkeeper (with Xero or Dext experience) to support Australian client accounts from a remote setup in the Philippines. The role focuses on accurate reconciliations, BAS/IAS lodgement, and payroll-related tasks aligned with Melbourne business hours.

You will work closely with Client Managers in a cloud-based finance stack. The ideal candidate has Australian GST/BAS knowledge, extensive Xero experience, and a Philippine CPA or accounting degree.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting and/or Philippine CPA license.
• Hands-on experience with Australian GST, BAS, and IAS preparation.
• Extensive experience in Xero and daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Experience in accounts payable, bank reconciliations and supplier statement reconciliation.
• Clear written and verbal communication with managers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day transactions across multiple client accounts.
• Manage client bills and invoices in Dext and Xero.
• Perform regular bank reconciliations across client files.
• Prepare supplier batch payments for review and release.
• Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare the Taxable Payments Annual Report (TPAR).
