Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation seeks a field-based Merchant Relations Executive to drive merchant acquisition and manage on-site engagements. You will ensure POS terminals operate smoothly and train store staff on payment acceptance procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any 4-year course preferably Marketing
• With at least 2 years’ work experience in marketing and sales

• Has proven experience in merchant acquiring business
• Able to meet sales targets and work independently

Job description

• Ensures excellent customer service and merchant rapport through regular face-to-face engagements and dedicated account support (or via call-outs/phone interactions when face-to-face visits cannot be conducted due to unforeseen circumstances).
• Ensures that Point-of-Sale (POS) terminals are working and operating at optimal efficiency during on-site visits.
• Responsible for direct merchant engagement to conduct store visits, verifies terminal operations, conducts orientations for Card and QR payment acceptance procedures, delivers official updates, and trains store staff.
• Responsible for achieving merchant activity targets, maintaining excellent customer rapport, ensuring proper merchandising displays, and fostering strong relationships to support merchant sales and operational efficiency.
• Assists and participates in any marketing-related events/exhibits related to RCBC Installment or special merchant events.
• Assesses merchant needs on-site and endorse technical, account, or financial concerns to the appropriate internal support channels.
• Will be assigned to various locations

Job Requirements
