Job summary

RCBC Bankard Services Corporation seeks a Merchant Acquisition specialist to manage affiliation and disaffiliation of NTB merchants for P2M/e-wallet and new product expansion in the region.

You'll conduct regular merchant visits, address needs, support division promotions, and build merchant portfolios. Strong communication, PR skills, and willingness to be assigned outside NCR are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 4-year business course (preferably Marketing).
• Experience in marketing and sales is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-organized with good public relations and adaptability.
• Willing to be assigned outside of NCR.

Responsibilities

• Affiliate/disaffiliate NTB merchants for P2M/e-wallet or new product expansion.
• Attend to merchant needs and concerns.
• Support division, promotions, and projects.
• Identify prospective merchants by building a portfolio.
• Visit merchants regularly to address needs promptly.
• Review billings against targets and prepare reports.
• Recommend disaffiliation for non performers or fraud.

Job description

Job Purpose

• Responsible for the affiliation/disaffiliation of New-to-bank (NTB) merchants for P2M/e-wallet and/or new product expansion in area of responsibility.


• Responsible in servicing the needs and concerns of assigned merchants.


• Provides assistance to the division, company promotions and projects.


• Searches and evaluates prospective merchants for affiliation within the area of responsibility by building their own portfolio.


• Conducts regular visitation to assigned merchants, ensuring all immediate needs and concerns of the merchants are addressed properly and promptly.


• Reviews actual billings against targets and prepares weekly and monthly analysis reports for submission to the division and group head.


• Recommends and undertakes disaffiliation of merchants (e. g. non billers, those who fail to meet billings requirements, fraud merchants, those who surcharges or as recommended by CCAP).

Job Requirements

• Graduate of any 4-year business course preferably Marketing


• Preferably with experience in the field of marketing and sales


• Excellent written and oral communication skills


• Organized, amiable strong PR, flexible, articulate, able to handle pressure


• Willing to be assigned outside of NCR
