Job summary

TapTalent.ai seeks an Associate Technical Support Representative to assist POS customers in a fast-paced call center environment. You will provide first-level technical support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues for retailers and restaurants.

Onsite position at Vertis North, Quezon City, starting JANUARY 27, 2025. Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic Windows/iOS skills are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year technical and customer service experience.
• Intermediate computer skills including email, internet, Microsoft Windows programs and Office applications, iOS products.
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and troubleshoot for non-technical users.
• Understanding of specialty retail operations; prior specialty retail experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Willing to work onsite in Vertis North, Quezon City.
• Can start on JANUARY 27, 2025.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-tier support for retail stores and restaurants using the client's POS software solutions.
• Resolve end-user issues through step-by-step instructions related to hardware, software and networking support.
• Field incoming support requests submitted through phone calls, emails, or online chat rooms.
• Log all support requests and escalations in ticketing system.
• Use remote connect capabilities to resolve issues when necessary.

We're Hiring: Associate Technical Support Representative!

Job Summary:

As an Associate Technical Service Support Representative, you will work directly with POS customers (which are merchants, often in a retail and restaurant setting) in a call center environment. During your interaction with our customers, you will provide first-level technical support to end users by troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues.

Typical support calls are related to:

• Basic network connectivity
• Basic Windows user settings and configuration
• POS (point-of-sale) software application support
• Software Upgrades
• File sharing

Qualifications/Educational Requirements:
