Job summary

Our Clients is seeking a Technical Sales Support specialist in the Philippines to assist our sales managers, customers, and distributors. You will coordinate orders from inquiry to shipment, work with engineering to meet specifications, and maintain strong customer relationships.

The role requires clear communication of technical products to non-technical audiences, support for Business Development Managers, and travel to client sites as needed. CRM proficiency and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical sales support to sales managers, end customers, and distributors.

• Travel up to 10% to support customers and attend trade shows or events.
• Assist in training and supporting channel partners on product capabilities.

Job description

This position is responsible for providing technical sales support to oursalesmanagers, end customers, and distributors by coordinating internally with otherdepartments to guide orders from initial inquiry to shipment. Serves as a subjectmatter expert on our products and capabilities and is able to effectivelycommunicate technical products to a non-technical audience. Supports ourBusiness Development Managers and customers with the goal of increasingrevenue and achieving annualized growth of 15% or greater.

• Customer service with a proven ability to explain technical products
  to a non-technical audience both internal and external.
  Provides excellent technical sales support to our sales managers,
  end customers, and distributors.
• Works with customers and engineering to ensure products meet
  specified requirements.
• Listens, understands, and ensures customer needs are met, which
  may include product modifications.
• Provides timely quotation generation and follow-up.
• Secure orders and assures product delivery by monitoring orders
  from initial inquiry to shipment, works with internal team for order
  coordination. Communicates order updates to customers as needed.
• Creates and proactively maintains strong customer relationships.
• Works with and creates positive working relationships with other
  engineering and technical team members.
• Assists in preparation of annual Order Entry Plan.
• Records and maintains customer information in CRM system.
• Subject matter expert for products and capabilities in support
  of new and existing customer applications.
• Trains Business Development Managers and Channel Partners on
  company products and capabilities.
• Travels throughout assigned territory as necessary, up to 10%
  travel.
• Supports marketing by attending trade shows and conferences.
• Calls prospective customers in target segments with the goal of
  adding to our customer base.
• Assists with research and development of new products.
• Utilizes and creates documents in the Wiki.
