Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in the Philippines seeks a backend services professional to support Air freight service lines across regions. You will work on back-end services, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks and contributing to service improvements.

The role requires 0–3 years in logistics or BPO, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong English communication. Proactive collaboration and ERP familiarity are a plus in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; logistics/management degree advantageous.
• 0–3 years experience in BPO or logistics preferred.
• Air Freight experience is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Experience with ERPs is a plus.
• Good logical reasoning and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Understand the station's/country's documentation requirements and follow SOPs.
• Meet department SLAs and KPIs as per delivery guidelines.
• Operate services across shifts, countries, or regions.
• Deliver high-quality service with timely and accurate results.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve service.
• Flag challenges to supervisor and business partner promptly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for regular communication and information flow.

Job Description:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work upon one or more back-end services for the Air freight service line, supporting countries, regions, or global and ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks/target assigned. You will be part of a larger team, sharing best practices & working upon the services with continuous improvement approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• To understand the requirement of the station’s / country’s documentation and ensure jobs are executed as per standard operating procedures.
• Ensure department SLAs and all Key Performance Indicators are being met as per the agreed delivery guidelines.
• Operate on the services according to the shifts, countries, or regions aligned.
• Deliver a high level of service quality through timely and accurate completion of services.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the business to identify solutions, best practices, and opportunities to improve the service to our business partners.
• Flag any challenges in the operations to the immediate supervisor and business partner in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate with the relevant stakeholders for regular communication and flow of information as defined for the respective service.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Bachelor´s degree (any). A degree in logistics, management will be an advantage.
• 0 – 3 years of job experience from BPO or logistics domain – Preferred
• Air Freight experience will be preferred
• Good knowledge in MS office
• Effective English communication skills, written and verbal
• Exposure to working with Enterprise Resource Platforms (ERPs) - Preferred
