Surabana Jurong is seeking a Master Data Management professional to ensure accuracy and governance of critical master data. The role involves collaborating with multiple departments, maintaining data integrity, and supporting data-related projects.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years in MDM and accounting, experience with ERP tools (SAP/S4HANA), and strong data analysis skills, with attention to detail and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Business, Accountancy or IT-related field.
• 1–3 years of work experience in Master Data Management and General Accounting.
• Experience in a BPO or Shared Service setting is an advantage.
• Experience with ERP or financial reporting software (SAP or S/4HANA is a plus).
• Strong data analysis, migration, and conversion capabilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of organizational data, creating and updating master data records, collaborating with various departments to standardize data processes, and resolving data quality issues.
• Be involved in implementing and maintaining MDM tools, conducting data audits, and providing support for data-related projects.
• Adhere to the defined MDM governance documentation.
• Analyse large datasets to identify data quality issues and inconsistencies.
• Assist in the preparation of information to support audit requirements.
• Assure and maintain data integrity in all work.
• Build effective relationships with internal / external stakeholders and ensures alignment.
• Collaborate with data requestors and stakeholders to implement data capabilities and processes.
• Complete work with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Coordinate material and finished product master data setup validation and periodic maintenance.
• Ensure all data discrepancies are communicated to stakeholders.
• Escalate data and compliance issues.

Key Performance Indicators

• Service Level Agreements are always met and maintain the highest level.
• Accurate, complete and timely processing of master data requests.
• Continuous communication with supervisors and colleagues on status of assigned tasks.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with team members, internal clients and management.
• Ensure high-level of confidentiality is maintained at all times.
• High level of participation and engagement in company activities would be encouraged.
• Assist other team members during peak times.
• Successful and on-time resolution of process issues and proper escalation is observed.

Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills And Experience

• Must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business, Accountancy or IT related course
• With 1 to 3 years of work experience in Master Data Management and General Accounting
• Experience in a BPO or Shared Service setting is an advantage.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software or financial reporting software is required, SAP or S4 Hana is a plus.
• Basic communication skills. Able to relay basic oral and written information.
• Knowledge in data analysis, data migration and conversion processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Capable of collaborating in cross-functional teams and adapting to new technologies under pressure.
