Job summary

Accountstaff (EA) is looking for an Assistant Relationship Manager/Senior Officer to support loan portfolio management, data analytics, and regulatory compliance. The role involves preparing reports, growth plans, and financial projections, while ensuring data quality for the core banking system to satisfy MAS/HO requirements.

The candidate should have a degree in Accounting/Business/Finance, at least 3 years of relevant experience (2 years in audit a plus), and will be interviewed in English

Qualifications

• Accounting/Business/Finance degree from a reputable university.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience.
• 2 years of audit experience would be a plus.
• Interviews will be conducted in English and Mandarin for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management reporting, growth plans, and financial projections for the loan portfolio.
• Perform data analytics to support continuous controls monitoring.
• Ensure data input quality for the core banking system to meet MAS/HO requirements.
• Assist MAS and audit requirements for Marketing, including documentation and reporting.
• Coordinate requests from HO and other departments (internal control, AML, data consolidation, system testing).
• Work with stakeholders to implement key credit initiatives and stay updated on regulatory changes.
• Assist RM in account opening, KYC, and credit proposals for new customers.
• Execute ad hoc duties as assigned.

About the role

Assistant Relationship Manager/Senior Officer in a support role focused on loan portfolio management, data analytics, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare management reporting, growth plans, and financial projections of the loan portfolio
• Perform data analytics to facilitate continuous controls monitoring
• Control the quality of correspondent data input for the core banking system to ensure report correctness and fulfill MAS/HO requirements
• Assist in MAS and internal/external audit requirements to Marketing Department, including documentation, survey, management/financial reports, and customer/facility info
• Coordinate requests from HO and other departments, such as internal control, AML transaction clearance, data consolidation, banking system user test and problem solving
• Work with relevant stakeholders to implement key credit initiatives by the bank and keep up to date on policy and regulatory changes and requirements
• Assist RM in account opening, KYC and credit proposal for new customers
• Execution of ad hoc duties assigned efficiently

About you

• Preferably Accounting/Business/Finance major from reputable university
• Minimum 3-years relevant working experience
• 2-year audit experience would be a plus
• Interview will be conducted in both English and Mandarin as clients are mostly mandarin speaking
