Responsibilities

• Monitor daily sales performance of ex-plant and route sales customers, including the commercial segment.
• Monitor Trade Accounts Receivable (TAR) and ensure on-time payment and collection.
• Conduct monthly sales audit for cylinder loan and 50kg LPG Manifold System.
• Update price book daily.
• Provide daily, weekly, and monthly sales volume performance.
• Ensure delivery of products to customers in a timely manner.
• Identify and open potential retail outlets and direct commercial customers.
• Coordinate Market Intel with Plant Sales Manager to implement competitive approach.
• Provide guidance and supervision over the Plant Sales Team.
• Monitor the team's performance and set goals and objectives.
• Identify, evaluate, and manage risks in implementing strategic plans.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and governance; support internal audits.

The Assistant Plant Sales Manager assists the Plant Sales Manager by monitoring day-to-day sales activities, competitors' market movement, and identifying possible new commercial clients/ customers.

Principal Accountabilities:

SALES MONITORING AND OPERATIONS

• Monitor daily sales performance of ex-plant and route sales customers, including the

• Conduct Market Intel and ensure it will be properly coordinated with the Plant Sales Manager to identify and implement a competitive approach.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT

• Provide crucial guidance and supervision over the Plant Sales Team of the assigned plant.

• Monitor the performance of the team.

• Set team goals and objectives.

RISK ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT

• Identifies, evaluates, and manages the risks that BIVMC undertakes in implementing its strategic plans and conducting its business.

• Evaluates whether these risks, and related risk management efforts, are consistent with the BIVMC’s risk appetite. Keeps the senior management and related board committees informed about the significant risks and their risk management processes.

INTERNAL CONTROL AND CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

• Provides assurance, consulting, and other compliance engagements to the Internal Audit Department for selection and inclusion in the annual risk-based internal audit plan.

• Ensures compliance with all financial and operational controls in his area of operations and must implement internal control as part of the total system to achieve BIVMC’s objectives and goals.

• Conducts a regular evaluation of existing policies, systems, and procedures to ensure that these remain relevant and effective to the current operating environment.

• Gives prompt and cooperative consideration and actions to recommended improvement measures made by independent internal or external audit groups.
