Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar operations management role.
• Strong knowledge of WMS and proficiency with inventory control software and MS Office.
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.
• Ability to analyse operational data, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Solid understanding of health, safety, and security in warehouse/logistics environments.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation.

Responsibilities

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Stockcare Cargo and Warehousing Inc. in Cebu City. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our warehouse and cargo handling facilities. As Assistant Operations Manager, you will work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure efficient, safe, and compliant warehouse and logistics operations. Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations
• Monitor and manage warehouse staff performance, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure team productivity and adherence to safety standards
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and security protocols within the warehouse facility, conducting regular inspections and reporting any incidents or hazards
• Liaise between warehouse operations, customer service, and management to ensure smooth communication and resolution of operational issues
• Prepare and analyse operational reports, including productivity metrics, staffing levels, and cost management data, providing recommendations for improvement
• Support the Operations Manager in planning, budgeting, and implementing operational improvements and efficiency initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant transport and logistics regulations
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate repairs to minimise downtime and maintain operational efficiency

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar operations management role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and proficiency with inventory control software and MS Office applications
• Excellent supervisory and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Proven ability to analyse operational data, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical solutions
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Sound understanding of health, safety, and security protocols in warehouse and logistics environments

• Physical fitness and willingness to conduct regular site inspections and floor audits
• Knowledge of relevant transport and logistics regulations in the Philippines is advantageous
