Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics management or a senior logistics role.
• Proven track record in managing logistics operations, warehouses and distribution networks.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; professional certification (APICS or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and oversee daily logistics operations including warehouse management, inventory control and distribution activities.
• Manage and optimise transportation and delivery routes to ensure timely and cost-effective goods movement.
• Supervise logistics team members, including warehouse staff, drivers and administrative personnel.
• Monitor warehouse operations to ensure proper storage, handling and security of inventory.
• Develop and implement logistics strategies and standard operating procedures to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data integrity.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and transport partners to coordinate shipments and resolve logistics issues.
• Analyse logistics metrics and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the logistics facility.
• Prepare reports on logistics performance, costs and operational challenges for senior management.
• Manage logistics budgets and control expenses related to transportation, warehousing and equipment maintenance.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join us in a full-time capacity at our Davao location. This is a strategic management position that plays a crucial role in optimising our supply chain operations, ensuring efficient distribution of goods, and maintaining the highest standards of logistics excellence. The Logistics Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our logistics operations, from warehouse management to transportation coordination, directly contributing to the company's operational efficiency and profitability.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in logistics management or a similar senior logistics role
• Proven track record of successfully managing logistics operations, warehouse facilities and distribution networks
• Strong knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control systems and logistics best practices
• Proficiency with logistics management software, warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous process improvement
• Sound knowledge of transportation regulations, safety standards and compliance requirements
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field
• Certification in logistics or supply chain management (e.g. APICS, ICL) would be advantageous
