Job summary

Health Maintenance Inc. seeks an Assistant Medical Director to support the Medical Director in all clinic operations, credentialing, training, and monitoring of medical staff.

You will help ensure efficient division function, audit doctor activity, manage attendance and patient interactions, and supervise contracts from procurement to implementation. You will also coordinate with the Ethics Committee as the medical issue lead and assist the President and Medical Director on decisions, while

Qualifications

• MD degree and board/licensure as required for medical leadership roles.
• Certification badges (BCOM/PCOM/MOSH) evidenced.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Medical Director in overall clinic processes including credentialing, training, monitoring, and evaluation of medical staff.
• Ensure operations of medical divisions are efficient; audit doctors, attendance and patient interactions.
• Ensure staff work cohesively as a team and align with Medical Division requirements.
• Oversee contracts, quotations, system upgrades, stock/inventory management and fund generation.
• Support Ethics Committee discussions as the medical issue point of contact.
• Assist President and Medical Director with decisions after Ethics Committee review.
• Help implement executive orders as the management representative.

Qualifications

• A graduate of Doctor of Medicine.
• Having a licensed Medical Director
• BCOM certified, PCOM and MOSH
• With high attention to details and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to multitask while working under minimal supervision.

• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office, using MS Word, and MS Excel.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible in assisting the Medical Director for the overall process of the clinic. Work scope includes credentialing, training, monitoring, surveillance and evaluation of both the medical health partners & clinic staff.
• Assist the Medical Director to make sure that the operations of the medical divisions are organized and function with strict efficiency. This includes auditing the management of doctors, attendance and patient interaction.
• The Assistant Medical Director sees to it that all staff are working as on team.
• Assist the Medical Director ensure that the functions of the Administrative Division are in sync with the requirements of the Medical Division. This includes the follow-up of contracts, approving quotations, system upgrades, monitoring of stocks/ inventory, generations of funds, issuing and signing of memos.
• Support the Medical Director for being the point person in any medical issues when discussed in the Ethics Committee.
• The Assistant Medical Director assist the president and Medical Director in any decisions after being discussed by the Ethics Committee.
• Assistant Medical Director helps in implementing the executive orders given by the President as the management representative
