About the Client
Our client is a growing media agency looking for a highly analytical Assistant Marketing Data Analyst to support our growing marketing operations. In this role, you will work closely under the direct supervision and guidance of Senior Marketing Data Analysts. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our marketing data pipeline, managing daily data ingestion, executing quality control checks, and building intuitive dashboards.
The ideal candidate is a master of data manipulation, a quick learner of modern AI tools, and a reliable collaborator who can seamlessly balance scheduled reporting with fast‑paced, ad‑hoc requests from internal teams and network partners.
What you will do
Data Operations & Quality Assurance
- Perform manual and automated data ingestion to ensure accurate tracking of marketing and campaign activities.
- Conduct daily and weekly quality assurance checks to validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Clean, organize, and manipulate large marketing datasets using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
- Maintain data integrity across reporting systems and marketing databases.
Analytics & Reporting
- Perform regression analyses using methodologies such as Bayesian modeling and Difference-in-Difference (DiD) to evaluate campaign performance and marketing effectiveness.
- Build and evaluate counterfactual models to estimate campaign performance without specific marketing interventions.
- Support the design, execution, and analysis of A/B tests and multivariate experiments.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, including spend, impressions, CPMs, and delivery pacing.
- Build, update, and maintain dashboards using SQL, Google BigQuery, and Looker Studio.
- Translate complex datasets into clear dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business stakeholders.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate with media network partners to resolve reporting discrepancies and obtain required data updates.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather reporting requirements and fulfill ad hoc data requests.
- Support Senior Marketing Data Analysts in preparing client‑ready reports and performance summaries.
Who you are:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, data cleaning, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable learning and utilizing AI‑powered productivity tools.
A plus if you have:
- Experience using Looker Studio (Data Studio).
- Working knowledge of SQL, preferably Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with Notion and Slack.
- Experience performing statistical analysis, regression modeling, or causal inference techniques.
- Knowledge of A/B testing methodologies and marketing performance measurement.
- Experience with JavaScript or Google Apps Script
- Previous experience working with digital marketing or advertising data
