SM Development Corporation in the Philippines seeks a seasoned Geodetic Engineer to lead surveying activities for land development projects. The role requires supervising reconnaissance, topographic surveys, and layout planning in line with masterplans while ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with contractors, government agencies, and project teams, mentor survey staff, manage equipment usage, and prepare progress reports to keep projects on schedule.

Formación

• Must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Geodetic Engineering from a reputable college or university.
• Must be a Licensed Geodetic Engineer.
• Must have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in surveying, land development, construction, or real estate projects.
• Preferably with at least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises reconnaissance, relocation, and topographic surveys for land acquisition and project development.
• Oversees layout of road networks, housing units, utilities, and project facilities.
• Conducts and verifies survey computations, plans, reports, and documentation.
• Supervises layout of Meralco pole locations, drainage systems, and utility infrastructure.
• Oversees boreholes and test pits for geotechnical investigations.
• Coordinates with contractors, consultants, government agencies, and stakeholders regarding survey requirements.
• Ensures compliance with surveying standards, regulations, and company policies.
• Monitors survey schedules, manpower deployment, and equipment utilization.
• Reviews survey outputs and identifies potential issues for project implementation.
• Mentors survey personnel to improve productivity and competency.
• Maintains survey instruments and equipment.
