Job summary

Hyatt Hotels Corporation is seeking an Assistant Manager - Banquets to support the Banquet Manager in delivering exceptional guest experiences within Hyatt's corporate standards and budget. You will help run the assigned outlet as a profitable unit, driving guest satisfaction and staff performance while maintaining brand quality.

Ideally you hold a degree in Hospitality or related field and have at least 2 years of supervisory experience in a hotel or large restaurant, with a track record of

• Ideally with a relevant degree, apprenticeship or diploma in Hospitality or restaurant management.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Outlet Manager or Team Leader/Captain in a hotel or large restaurant with good standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.
• The Assistant Manager - Banquets is responsible to assist the Banquet Manager in managing the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit centre, in line with the Banquet operating concept and Hyatt International standards, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the Banquet.
