Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a content classification specialist to review and classify arts and entertainment content in line with established guidelines. You will assess applications and ensure timely, accurate decisions, while supporting team operations to manage workloads effectively.

Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Knowledge of media trends and regulatory considerations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Mass Communications, Media Studies or a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience with interest in media, arts, entertainment and industry developments.
• Strong understanding of social, cultural, and political sensitivities and their impact on society.
• Experience in content classification, moderation, review, or regulatory work is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate recommendations clearly.

Requirements

• Degree in Mass Communications, Media Studies, Humanities, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience, with a strong interest in media, arts, entertainment, and current industry developments.
• Good understanding of social, cultural, and political sensitivities, with an appreciation of the broader impact media content may have on society.
• Prior experience in content classification, content moderation, content review, or related regulatory work will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make objective and balanced assessments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate recommendations clearly and effectively.
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience in policy development, regulatory affairs, or governance-related work, coupled with an interest in technology and emerging media trends, will be advantageous.
