Job summary

PERSOL in the Philippines seeks a diligent Arts Classification Officer to classify Arts Entertainment submissions in accordance with the Arts Classification Guidelines. The classifier assesses applications and documents the results.

The role supports permanent officers by handling classification workloads and requires a background in Mass Communications, Media Studies or Humanities, with 2–5 years' media experience and strong writing and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Mass Communications, Media Studies or Humanities degree or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of work experience in media or related field.
• Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Good awareness of social and political sensitivities related to media.
• Experience in content classification, review, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Classify Arts Entertainment submissions according to the Arts Classification Guidelines.
• Relieve workload of permanent officers to allow focus on other projects.
