Job summary

Grand Westside Manila Bay is seeking an Assistant Learning & Development Manager for a full-time, on-site role in Metro Manila. You will help design, deliver, and evaluate training programs to lift team member skills, service standards, and operational excellence across the hotel.

Day-to-day you will conduct training sessions, coordinate onboarding and development initiatives, maintain training records, and assist in creating learning materials.

Qualifications

• Strong Training & Development and training skills; experience facilitating workshops and creating learning materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, HR, Education, Psychology or related field preferred.
• Hospitality or service-focused experience, ideally in L&D or training roles.
• On-site work in Metro Manila; ability to manage multiple training projects and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with learning management systems is a plus.

Job description

The Assistant Learning & Development Manager also helps promote a culture of continuous learning, supports employee engagement activities, and ensures alignment with brand and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Strong Training & Development and Training skills, including experience facilitating workshops and creating learning materials.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in hospitality or service-focused industries, ideally in learning and development or training roles.
• Ability to work on-site in Metro Manila, manage multiple training projects, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic presentation tools; familiarity with learning management systems is an advantage.
