Contracts Supervisor
Job Summary
Under the direct supervision of the Supply Chain and Contracts Manager, the Contracts Supervisor oversees the functions of the Contracts Section, coordinating with the manager on awarding and terminating existing contracts, as well as sourcing new contractors for various trades.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Handle the costing of in-house subcontractor works for man-hours and tariffs in building and repair projects to determine the necessary budget for subcontracted work or projects.
- Perform administrative support by assisting in the formulation and development of plans and programs to achieve the goals and negotiation of the Contracts Section.
- Provide administrative assistance by supervising the deployment of personnel to specific duties and tasks to coordinate with other operating departments or sections within the company.
- Assist the Supply Chain and Contracts Manager by meeting with subcontractors, in coordination with Project Managers and Production Managers, to determine the awarding and terminating of contracts and monitoring compliance with company rules and regulations.
- Monitor and control all subcontracted jobs, ensuring that all farmed-out jobs are properly covered by required standard company documents.
Requirements
- Graduate of any Business or Engineering course.
- Knowledge, background, or experience in meeting and casas and handling subcontractors.
- Experience in purchasing or contracts department is a plus.
