Job summary

NRI Australia & New Zealand is seeking an Assistant Accountant to support the global finance team in Taguig, Philippines. You will handle routine clerical and accounting duties, including invoicing customers, processing supplier invoices, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Requirements include 5+ years in a similar role, Oracle Financials experience, and strong Excel/Office skills. This role offers on-site work in Taguig with opportunities for growth within the finance function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role within a professional services organization.
• Oracle Financials experience or similar accounting systems desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with good data handling and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Process monthly billing to customers and employee expense claims.
• Participate in the month end process to ensure accruals and information is delivered on time.
• Credit Note, Payment Posting, Unapplied Payments, Uninvoiced Transactions, Contract in Oracle.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as required (burndown; SOA; Bank Form completion; Time Card Summary).
• Overtime approvals and documentation of OT reasons with approvals.
• Credit Note Register and ensure proper documentation on transactions.
• Uninvoiced Report: weekly checks to ensure invoicing timeliness.
• Fixed Price Register: update and ensure billing handled correctly.
• Collaborate with Financial Accountant to meet month end deadlines.
• Maintain general filing and Debtors Reports accuracy.
