Global Payments Inc. in Manila seeks an Assistant Accountant to join our growing Accounting team and help shape the future of global commerce. You will contribute to the month-end close and maintain accurate financial records in a dynamic, multinational environment.

The role offers exposure to intercompany activities, reconciliations, and process improvements as part of a global payments leader. Strong English communication and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accountancy from a reputable college or university.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in general accounting or general ledger accounting.
• Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilités

• Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and ensuring deliverables are completed within deadlines.
• Perform balance sheet, bank, and general ledger reconciliations, investigating variances and outstanding items.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity through internal controls and policies.
• Assist with intercompany accounting activities and coordinate with stakeholders.
