Global Payments in Metro Manila, Philippines is hiring an Assistant Accountant to support the Accounting team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will handle clerical accounting tasks including data entry, invoice verification, basic reconciliations, and maintaining financial records within our MS Dynamics system, under supervision. This role offers exposure to a global payments environment and opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 2+ years in accounting, finance, billing, or AR/AP roles.
• Experience with data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records.
• Ability to follow procedures under supervision for routine tasks.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Dynamics for GL entries.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical accounting support including data entry of invoices and expenses.
• Assist in verifying invoice accuracy, basic reconciliations, and correcting routine errors.
• Be the first point of contact for internal and external inquiries, resolving routine questions and supporting dispute research.
• Maintain and update financial records with journals and ledgers in accounting systems.
• Compile and prepare standardized reports and ensure proper documentation retention for audits.
