Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager - Asset Management Superintendent to oversee reliability and maintenance management within a coal-fired power plant environment. The role goes beyond conventional maintenance planning, encompassing equipment lifecycle management, asset performance monitoring, and strategic reliability initiatives to ensure long-term operational efficiency and cost optimization.

This position is based in Calaca, Batangas, with a compressed onsite work schedule. The client is open to considering candidates from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, and is prepared to provide housing and travel support as needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Life cycle cost analysis and equipment lifecycle management.
• Work order management and analysis, particularly preventive maintenance.
• Asset performance monitoring.
• Maintenance planning and preventive maintenance scheduling.
• Equipment replacement and condition assessment.
• Spare parts and PPR validation.
• Budget preparation.
• Outage management.
• Coordination with maintenance, operations, planning, procurement, and finance.
• Managing and working with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers.

Key requirements:

• Experience in a coal-fired power plant or a closely related power generation environment is preferred
• Must have strong background in asset management, reliability engineering, maintenance strategy, and equipment lifecycle management.
• Experience in ISO 55001, reliability-centered maintenance, predictive maintenance, and root cause analysis
• Strong people management and team leadership experiences
• Ability to lead in a technically demanding, plant-based environment
