Orica is seeking a Maintenance Specialist (Asset) to manage mobile and fixed assets across the Philippines, reporting to the Lead - Asset Support. The role blends office and field work, with 50% site-based duties and 50% in-office tasks.
You will drive asset reliability, ensure compliance with maintenance plans, and support SAP maintenance processes while collaborating with regional stakeholders. Travel within Asia may be required.

As a Maintenance Specialist (Asset), you will play a key role in supporting the safe, efficient, and sustainable management of mobile and fixed assets across the Philippines. Working closely with the Lead - Asset Support, you will help drive asset reliability, operational performance, and business continuity through asset condition audits, master data governance, maintenance process compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
In this dynamic hybrid office & field based role , you will support SAP S/4HANA maintenance processes, spare parts and indirect materials management, and projects involving new delivery systems and fixed plant assets. This position offers significant exposure to operations across the Philippines, with 50% office based and 50% site based, as well as opportunities to collaborate with regional stakeholders and occasionally travel within Asia to support broader asset management initiatives.
Drives Fleet and Asset Management in The Philippines
Comply with Management of Change
Conducts Asset Verification audits
Mentors the Maintenance Team in region
Drives local compliance to Maintenance Management plans for all Assets on site
Ensures all repairs comply with SAP 4S Maintenance Process (including purchasing requirements)
Support local Capital Management and Optimization through regular Asset Condition Audits
Ensures all assets are within the Asset Life Cycle Management policy
Drive local improvement in new Asset handover through collaboration with Projects team
Ensures all Operational Equipment has been Hazard Studied – actions completed before mobilization
Development and Maintenance of Indirect Materials on SAP
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline; relevant trade qualifications will also be considered.
Minimum5 years of maintenance, reliability, or asset management experience within mining, manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or heavy equipment environments.
Demonstrated experience supportingmobile fleet, delivery equipment, plant assets, or maintenance operations.
Working knowledge ofmaintenance planning, asset lifecycle management, condition monitoring, and spare parts inventory management.
Proven ability to contribute totechnical projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional asset management programs.
Experience withSAP S/4HANA maintenance modules (SAP 4S / SWM)
Strong commitment to Safety, Health, Environment, and Community (SHEC) standards is highly regarded.
