Job summary

TransitionZero is seeking a Head of Engagement for ASEAN to lead market development, partnerships and solution delivery across Southeast Asia. You will shape regional strategies, orchestrate stakeholders, and guide pilots from discovery to adoption, ensuring credible market narratives and measurable outcomes.

The role requires broad cross-functional leadership, strong client engagement, and the ability to translate complex modelling into value propositions for senior decision-makers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in market development, partnerships, solution consulting, product/delivery, ideally in energy, power, infrastructure, analytics or tech.
• Experience across Southeast Asian markets with understanding of energy sector institutions and funding dynamics.
• Track record building new markets, segments or strategic accounts and progressing complex opportunities with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience implementing complex software, data analytics, modelling or advisory solutions from discovery through adoption.
• Ability to translate technical capabilities into decision-oriented use cases and value narratives for senior audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with capability to produce proposals, briefs and executive materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop evidence-based regional ASEAN market strategy and growth maps with senior leadership.
• Lead discovery with users and decision-makers to define modelling/ software use cases and success criteria.
• Drive qualified opportunities through business cases, pilots, and adoption with clear owners and milestones.
• Create market-facing narratives, briefs, proposals and event content to support demand.
• Capture market intelligence in shared systems and feed insights into product and delivery teams.
