Job summary

Procter & Gamble in Manila seeks a detail-oriented Packaging Artwork Specialist to support digital development of packaging materials. You will assemble artwork files for labels and cartons, ensuring print-ready accuracy per GDAFP and regional guidelines.

Key tasks include creating print-ready files, coordinating with printers, and applying regulatory and quality standards while exploring new technologies to improve packaging workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field is required.
• Strong proven experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop, with deeper expertise in Illustrator.
• Experience creating and preparing print-ready packaging files.
• Strong understanding of printing methods and printing technologies for consumer goods packaging.
• Experience in the packaging, printing, or consumer goods industry is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of tools such as Adobe Acrobat, Font Library, ESKO Dynamic Content, Canva, DAM, and Egnyte is a plus.
• Mac proficiency is required.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality work Right the First Time.
• Ability to stay highly focused and manage work from start to finish, with emphasis on execution quality.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Perform defect analysis on misses or quality issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Support file destruction requests for quality alerts when an error is identified after release, coordinating with printers to eliminate affected files.
• Partner with cross-functional teams including artwork, graphics, color, and print specialists to ensure strong execution and alignment.
• Identify opportunities to implement new technologies and process improvements within packaging development.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Packaging Artwork Specialist to support the digital development of packaging materials for a variety of product categories. This role is responsible for assembling and preparing packaging artwork files, such as labels, cartons, and other printed packaging components, based on approved requirements and existing P&G guidelines. The person in this role will work on the creation of print-ready files, ensuring designs are properly built and released according to technical, regulatory, and quality standards. This position is highly focused on packaging development, quality execution, and the exploration of new technologies to improve processes.
