Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked products in accordance with our standard recipes, procedures, and quality standards.

You will set up the proofer and chiller for proper dough proofing, monitor ovens at the right temperatures and times, and maintain cleanliness and sanitation in a fast-paced bakery environment, while following food safety procedures and reporting issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply.
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller for proper proofing before topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.

Education

High School Diploma / Senior High School Diploma / Vocational Diploma or Certificate / Bachelor's Degree in any field
