Job summary

BreadTalk Philippines, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Baker-Ovenman to prepare, bake, and ensure the quality of bread, pastries, and other baked goods in line with company recipes and quality standards.

You will set up proofing equipment, monitor ovens, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced bakery. The ideal candidate possesses a high school or vocational diploma, is willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays, and can follow instructions while working well with a team.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a High School Diploma, Senior High School Diploma, Vocational Diploma/Short Course Certificate, or Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Candidates with or without experience are encouraged to apply!
• Willing to work on a shifting schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Hardworking, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Can follow instructions and work well with a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures accurate setup of the proofer and chiller to make sure proper proofing of dough is done prior to topping and baking.
• Operates and monitors ovens at the correct temperature and baking time.
• Check the quality, appearance, and consistency of baked products.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the baking area and equipment.
• Properly handle and store ingredients and baking materials.
• Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures.
• Report damaged products, equipment problems, or ingredient shortages to the Supervisor/Manager.
• Assist the production team with other tasks when needed.
