Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Operations Supervisor to oversee all store operations within the assigned region/area.
What You’ll Do
Manage operations and sales functions of branches within the assigned region/area, providing leadership to achieve sales targets, profitability, and growth.
Reconcile daily activities and generate sales reports, stock on hand, and itinerary; submit reports to the Regional Sales Head, Assistant Store Operations Manager, and Operations Manager as applicable.
Coordinate and communicate regularly with the Regional Sales Head regarding sales and operational concerns.
Communicate company plans to the team to ensure alignment and understanding of business performance.
Plan, coordinate, and control customer service activities to enhance customer relationships and meet organizational goals.
Visit and audit stores regularly (twice or thrice a month for far-distant areas, and weekly for nearby areas).
Conduct performance appraisals for all SICs within the assigned region/area twice a year.
Support staff through coaching, training, and development in areas such as sales, stock control, merchandising, administration, and product knowledge.
Recommend repairs, renovations, retrofitting, or store conversions (e.g., from 2 brands to 4 brands), as well as procurement of needed materials and supplies.
Coordinate with the Warehouse on arrivals and deliveries of stocks, materials, and supplies.
Lead loss-prevention efforts by guiding staff in standard inventory procedures, reconciling results with the Inventory Department.
Lead or support Flash Sale events as needed.
What We Need
