Job summary

Northpoint Development Bank, Inc. (Laguna) is seeking an area manager to plan, implement and evaluate strategies for Microbusiness centers across the region. You will drive BLU targets, monitor performance and develop improvement plans while ensuring compliance and effective team leadership.

The role requires strong analytics, experience in sales, collections and risk management, and the ability to travel within the area to support branch expansion and account management initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to analyze, interpret and submit regular reports regarding sales and collection performance
• Ability to develop action plans to address areas for improvement
• Experience in reviewing and analyzing performance against targets on credit investigation, policy compliance, client retention, customer satisfaction, assets management and document control
• Experience in validating reports and transactional requests
• Ability to create and manage feasibility studies containing market analysis, strategy and implementation summary, management summary and financial plan
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing account metrics including new, retained, delinquent and good paying accounts
• Knowledge of compliance assessment and risk management strategies
• Experience in personnel management including work load distribution, personnel placement, performance appraisal, training and discipline

Responsibilities

• Manages the implementation of strategies to achieve the set sales and collection target of all Branch Lite Unit in the area
• Analyzes, interprets and submits regular reports on daily sales and collection performance of all BLUs in the area
• Develops an action plan to sustain the good standing of performing BLUs and address areas for improvement of low performing BLUs
• Reviews BLU performance vs targets on credit investigations, policy compliance, client retention and assets management
• Validates regular reports and transactions prior to approval or endorsement
• Manages the opening of Branch Lite Units in strategic locations in the area
• Monitors and analyzes the number of new, retained, delinquent and good paying accounts in the area
• Develops strategies to efficiently control the number of delinquent accounts and increase the number of good paying customers
• Conducts monthly compliance checking using the Compliance Assessment Questionnaire and submits to the Corporate Compliance Department
• Exercises administrative control over activities and staff, including workload distribution, performance appraisal, training, teamwork and discipline

About the role

Under general direction, responsible for planning, implementing and evaluating area-specific strategies to achieve Microbusiness centers targets including but not limited to collection, recovery management, branch expansion and account management.

Key responsibilities

• Manages the implementation of strategies to achieve the set sales and collection target of all Branch Lite Unit in the area
• Analyzes, interprets and submits regular reports regarding the daily sales and collection performance of all Branch Lite Units within the area of assignment
• Develops an action plan to sustain the good standing of performing BLUs and address the areas for improvement of low performing BLUs
• Reviews and analyzes the actual performance of all BLUs against targets on credit investigation, policy compliance, client retention, customer satisfaction, assets management, document control, foot traffic and other applicable metrics
• Validates regular reports and transactional requests prior to approving and/or endorsing the same to the Branch Banking Group Head and/or other stakeholders
• Manages the opening of Branch Lite Units in strategic locations in the area
• Monitors and analyzes the number of new, retained, delinquent and good paying accounts in the area
• Develops strategies to efficiently control the number of delinquent accounts and increase the number of good paying customers
