Maersk is seeking an Area Head for Single Carrier Landside Operations with responsibility for end-to-end dispatch, shipment planning, and carrier assignment. The role oversees container movement, timely deliveries, and exception management to ensure revenue integrity and SLA compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate, ideally Finance and Accounting.

In addition to dispatch execution, the role oversees exception management activities such as vendor dispute resolution, charge approvals, and addressing operational issues that disrupt the standard process flow. The position also drives continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions to eliminate recurring disruptions and enhance overall process efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Performance – contribute to business performance by the way of ensuring contribution margin across customers are profitable/positiveEnsure the process has strong controls so there is no revenue leakageEnsure all processes are performed as per the agreed terms in Service Level Agreement – Timely & Accurate and maintain and develop effective and efficient operational set-ups and proceduresEnsure compliance to Performance Management Framework. Track and monitor other KPI's related to the processFocus on people engagement by motivating and coaching highly energized team to deliver organizational outcomes with an owner’s mindsetHave a continuous improvement mind-setStakeholder communication: Regularly participate and take necessary call / discussions with Business Partners; Timely & professional interaction with Business Partners / Stakeholders; Communicate & Co-ordination with other teams within GSC.Actively participate in relevant business contingency testing. (Better if from landside process)Minimum 3 years of team handling experienceGraduate, or Postgraduate in any disciplineWillingness to work in full night shift; Onsite/WFO in Pasig CityAt least 10-12 years’ experience in operations, shipping container and logistics or Freight forwarder industry.
