Job summary

World Vision seeks a Program Officer for the Zamboanga del Norte Area Development Program to lead design, implementation, and monitoring of community initiatives that promote environmental resilience, sustainable livelihoods, and inclusive development.

The role serves as a liaison between local stakeholders, government agencies, and partner organizations, ensuring activities align with strategic goals and respond to the needs of vulnerable communities in ZDN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field.
• Trained on LEAP 3 and DPA foundations of Community Organizing and Development.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and submits contextualized annual implementation plans aligned with the Area Program plan.
• Coordinates and monitors implementation of Technical Programs against targets, timelines, quality, and budget.
• Ensures integrated and coordinated program implementation across assigned areas.
• Monitors programming targets and budget utilization.
• Builds and maintains linkages with government, BCPCs, CBOs, churches, and other stakeholders.
• Represents WVDF and coordinates with partners at barangay and municipal/city levels.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Community Development, or related Social Sciences
