Job summary

World Vision Philippines in Bukidnon seeks a Program Officer to lead the local implementation of the Area Program Approach, coordinating with CBOs, LGUs, BCPC, and faith-based groups to advance child wellbeing and sustainable development. The role requires adapting interventions to local contexts, ensuring timely progress and reporting outcomes, and building the capacity of local partners.

The position may deploy to emergencies to support the Response Team as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in SWS or related field
• Experience in NGO program implementation
• Strong writing and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Identifies and coordinates primary implementing partners and signs partnership agreements.
• Prepares and submits annual implementation plan and tracks progress, including budget utilization.
• Works with government partners and BCPC to ensure child wellbeing issues are addressed on time.
• Submits monthly, semi-annual and annual reports for TPs using standard tools/templates.
• Coordinates training of local agencies and partners as needed.
• Builds capacities of local partners with Technical Program Specialists.
• Leads community planning and advocacy for child wellbeing and sponsorship integration.
• Manages sponsorship operations and RC records with partners.
