Job summary

World Vision International (New) seeks a Program Officer in the Bukidnon Area Development Program to lead community-driven implementation of country strategy, coordinate partners, monitor progress, and report outcomes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with CBOs, local governments, schools, and faith-based groups to advance child wellbeing and sustainability of results. Open-ended posting based in Bukidnon.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Social Work, Community Development, or other related Social Sciences.
• Trained on LEAP 3 and DPA or foundations of Community Organizing and Development.
• At least 2 years of NGO program implementation experience.
• Experience with Local Government Units, national/local agencies, churches, and other organizations.
• Experience in facilitating children’s activities.

Responsibilities

• Identifies and coordinates primary implementing partners and ensures partnership agreements are signed.
• Prepares and submits annual implementation plans with budget tracking.
• Collaborates with government partners to address child wellbeing issues on time.
• Prepares and submits monthly/annual reports using standard templates.
• Coordinates training of local agencies and institutions on project models.
• Builds capacity of local partners with Technical Program Specialists.
• Engages churches/faith-based groups in program implementation and values formation.
• Facilitates community planning, reporting, and local advocacy for child wellbeing.
