Job summary

Altaland Developers INc. in Las Piñas City, Metro Manila, seeks a talented Architect to design and shape innovative architectural solutions for institutional and commercial projects.

You will develop conceptual designs, technical drawings, and project specifications that meet aesthetic and functional requirements, from concept through permit-ready documents. The role requires a PRC license, a professional architecture degree, at least 5 years’ experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.

Qualifications

• Professional Architecture degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution.
• Valid PRC license to practice architecture in the Philippines.
• Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience in design, planning, or project management.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other design visualisation tools.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.
• Experience in institutional, commercial, or mixed-use development projects.
• Excellent technical drawing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking in design solutions.
• Team collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse professionals.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and green building principles is highly desirable.
• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs and concepts that align with project briefs, client requirements, and institutional standards
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, plans, elevations, and sections using CAD software and other design tools
• Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure seamless project execution
• Produce specification documents and construction documentation for building permits and regulatory compliance
• Monitor and manage design quality throughout the project lifecycle, from concept to completion
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities to address design modifications and approvals
• Stay current with building codes, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards relevant to the Las Piñas City area
• Support cost estimation and value engineering processes to optimise project budgets
